Since joining the Pittsburgh Opera and Ballet Orchestras in 1987, Ms. Tuttle has become both a prolific performer and prominent teacher in Western Pennsylvania. With her company Chambersite, she created Chamber Music Ensembles that perform regionally, producing events, recordings and the commission of new works for the Zaffiro, Diamante and Quartz ensembles. Ms. Tuttle plays on a Phillip Injeian custom-built cello made in Pittsburgh, dated 2013, and an Arcus Cadenza carbon-fiber bow.
